Ah… 30 long years ago you shot out of our mother’s vagina, and when she saw you were a girl she had to wait 2 more years till she got it right. Of course I’m thankful she had it in her(pun?), but let’s focus on you. Today is your 30th birthday, and just so you know at midnight, when your birthday is over, your eyes will bug out!(inside joke)
You being born was the most special thing that happened on that day, but here is what else happened:
- Flight attendant uniforms were issue for Braniff International Airlines (Maybe not so special)
- 19th Grammy Award (Album of the year was “Songs in the Key of Life” by Stevie Wonder)
- Elvis Performed in Johnson City, TN (Elvis rocked!)
- Shuttle Enterprise makes 1st test flight atop a 747 jetliner (Explains a lot!)
I am very glad I have a sister like you. Who is almost as smart as me, almost as good looking, and almost as talented. I wouldn’t trade you for any other sister in the whole wide world. I hope you have a super fantastic birthday. Love you Big Sis!
