Now a little back story. These two pictures are from a math book aimed at 3-5 year olds. Without knowing that first, some of you might try to over analyze the math involved and get confused. When I had to teach this page, the only instructions given were the ones I gave you above. That’s it. I felt stupid because I couldn’t understand what the answer was. I asked around to other teachers and they couldn’t get it. We finally figured it out when another teacher who had previously taught this book gave us the answer. FYI he was confused the first time too. It just goes to show you the simplest answer is usually the correct one.

To those that still can’t get it, here is a hint: Picture #1 is subtraction, and Picture #2 is addition. Congrats to the geniuses out there that got it right away, or the dummies with the mind of a child.

Welcome ladies and gentlemen back to the show! Today we have a new segment and it’s a game called “Guess The Product”! Now this is how the game works. I will show you a series of unusual photos. Your job is to guess what product they are selling before the end of the last picture. The answer will be posted after the last picture. There are no real “prizes” but it’s fun just to play along. No cheating you Chinese readers!

The first series of pictures were taken after our intense laser tag session. When we left the building there was a group of women dressed up in unusual costumes. Their job was to go up to random people and tell them about their product. Fortunately I had my camera with me and was able to take multiple photos of them. A group of foreigners sometimes can draw a crowd and soon we had the girls talking to us. At first when we saw them we couldn’t tell what their product was and even after talking to them it was a little bit unclear. Don’t worry though, I have the answer and it might shock you. If you have a DS (nintendo dual-screen) and you don’t have “Elite Beat Agents” yet, then seriously what the hell are you waiting for? This game is so bad-ass, with hours and hours of fun! It’s a rhythm based game set to popular music, where you have to hit the little circles in order to the beat of the song. Might sound easy, but thats why they have difficulty levels. Not only is it fast paced, but it also have it’s touching moments.

I can’t express how much this game owns. Seriously.
