Ever wondered what happened to the Taipeitimes.org podcast miltownkid and I started? Did you ever miss an episode and now it’s too late to download it? Did you always wish you could of heard the final episode that was never published? I have good news for you!

I just put together a podcast archive of all the episodes released, including the infamous episode 5 that was never released! The only ones not listed are the “Best Of” and the “Frost Report” episodes. I didn’t include them since I figured no one liked them anyways and they were just bonus episodes that had little to do with the actual show.

If we ever decided to make more, we can no longer use the same website as we did before since the domain name expired. If there is enough interest from people out there, maybe…just maybe we can make more.

After years and years of waiting, my hero, your hero, everyone’s hero, is finally coming to Taipei! Thats right, Kenny G, the beloved musician is coming to Taipei to give a fantastic, awe-inspiring concert! Make sure you mark your calendars. He is only giving one performance on March 27th. I know for a fact that it will sell out quickly so don’t delay in ordering your tickets. I’ll be there, front row, with bells on!

Ok, I lied. I fucking hate Kenny G. Everyone hates Kenny G. Did I have you going there for a while? This would of made a good April Fool’s joke, but by then the concert would be over. To those who really like him you can see the phone number on the banner to get more info, cuz you sure the hell ain’t getting it from me.

As you might of noticed the site got a fresh coat of paint. I hooked my site up with a new theme, and an easy to manage sidebar. Took a few days to modify all the code to fit what I like, but overall I am happy with it. Over the next couple of weeks I will be playing with the sidebar, adding features, taking away feature, modifying features, etc… I can do a lot more with it now, like add graphs or voting polls. Yes I know what your thinking, it is exciting news!

I have noticed that when I first announced that I was fixing up the site in this post: “Under Construction” all of the other blogs I read suddenly started doing the same. Most of them did a good job too. I am a trend setter, what can I say?

Also semi new is another website I own called Frostfox Films. All movies or short clips that I have ever posted, either on here or YouTube or Revver is also link and displayed there. So now instead of always running around trying to find the new thing, it’s all nicely posted altogether and easy to find. I’m always trying to organize things better and make the site user friendly.

Since the weather is clearing up, I will have a lot more content in the coming days. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of the new design and any other thoughts you might have. I am always more happy when people leave me comments.

Just a quick note on some changes to the blog. The Eyejot things that was in the sidebar has been moved to the main page. I had to move it there since it was so huge and I want to use that space for other things. I am also slowly working on the sidebar to make it more useful and pretty. Expect some outages on the blog as I work on this stuff. Whoever coded the sidebar needs to be shot. I have almost no experience in coding a sidebar, so most of it is trial and error. If anyone reading this is an expert on coding, send me a message.

For those still wondering where the new header/banner is, I am still working on it. I kind of got into a creative block on how I want to finish it. For now I’ll leave you with my second choice for a new banner/header. The one I am still working on is better in my opinion, but I won’t unveil it until it is ready. This second choice one was created by me using a satellite image of Taiwan. The ocean was created by me in photoshop using some neat tricks I have learned. Let me know how you feel about it.

Ever have one of those days where outside is PERFECT and everything is urging you to go enjoy it, but you just don’t want to? Today is one of those days for me. Outside today is 80 degrees, beautiful, warm and with a slight cool breeze. You would be crazy to stay in and miss out. For me, I just want to relax and chill on my computer. There will be another day like this.

I am not talking about when you first meet someone, I am referring to my header/banner on the top of the page. Over the years and months that my blog has been up it has seen many many changes to the styling and to the header. I feel that the header is one of the most important things on a website. It’s what people first see when they visit. You have a better chance of people returning if their eyes don’t bleed from your fugly ass design.

So as a treat, here are all 7 of my past header/banner designs. Which one is your favorite? Oh, but before we begin, I am in the process of making another new one, and hopefully I will finish it by Monday. It’s gonna look nice!

As you might have noticed there has been a few changes to my site recently. The banner up top is new and fresh. Sometimes all a site needs is a new banner to freshen things up. On the Main Page I included new links to my favorite websites that I visit, and a new welcome picture. No longer will Frost flick you off =( On the sidebar —–> I added a Flickr RSS feed that shows random pictures.

The biggest change and something that I am just testing right now is that huge thing called “Eyejot“. What Eyejot does is record messages that people want to leave me via their webcam. Just a warning, my blog is currently have problems with IE6 (internet explorer 6). The whole sidebar drops down to the very bottom of the page and some features don’t work. I am working on a solution, but it’s advisable to use Firefox from now until you die. Seriously.

So this is what you do. Hit the reply button and you’ll have many options to choose from. Just be lazy if you want and hit the “Reply Anonymously” button and record a message for me. Anything you want, a simple hello, or strip tease, whatever! After you do that it converts that video and sends it to my email, and I can download and watch it. It’s a private feature that only I’m allowed to access so you don’t have to worry about other people seeing the video you leave for me. Only I have the password to access it. It’s like a answering machine, but more personal. Technology is so cool sometimes.

I want to slightly change some other things on the site, but they are minor things, like color adjustments or different fonts. Let me know what ya think about the site, or how cool and sexy I am. Record it on the Eyejot in the side bar. Back to tweakin!
