Not much is known about Sasquatch. As much as we know is that he is a hermit living up in the mountains of Taipei. We also know he is absolutely crazy and likes to go off topic a lot and confuse people. While he not scheduled to appear in beginning part of season 2, he will definitely be featured soon. Like most characters in the TD universe he is based off of an old friend of mine from the US. This friend even did some fan artwork for the show. So I am sure you’re all dying to know what TV I bought and in this installment I’ll share with you. I like to share!

The choices were as followed: 28″ ViewSonic VX2835WM, 32″ LG, 32″ Samsung LN32A550P1, 37″ Proton 37-TF68P. So which one did I pick? None of the above. While doing more research I came across a beauty that I just couldn’t resist.

Some of you probably haven’t heard of Chimei before. Well let me educate you. Chimei is the world’s 4th and Taiwan’s 2nd largest maker of LCD panels. So even though you might not have heard of them, they aren’t some shitty off brand. The model I bought is a Chimei 37″(TL-37S2100D) Full HD LCD TV.

So what’s so cool about this TV? Well I am glad you asked. Here are some stats for you: 37″ Full HD(1080p) widescreen HDTV. It has a 6.5ms response time, 500 cd/m2 brightness, 2500:1 contrast ratio and is sexy piano black. It has one connector for cable and a separate one for an antennae which can receive digital radio if you so choose to. It packs 2 HDMI connectors, 2 A/V composite(red/white/yellow), 2 component cables(red/green/blue), 1 VGA computer connector with audio port, 1 headjack port, and 1 S-Video port. Basically everything you need. It was reasonably priced too at $33,900NT with shipping. Even cheaper than the 32″ Samsung I was thinking about buying!

I am so glad I bought this, I couldn’t stand playing my PS3 on my old crappy 480i standard definition TV. Not only did the games look like shit, but everything was so small and blurry it was sometimes hard to read important things. Here is a comparison.

Joss Whedon the guy who created Buffy and Angel is doing something new on the web called Dr. Horrible. It’s a musical blog that stars Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser) and the people from Buffy/Angel and Firefly. It’s pretty funny and entertaining. You have till Sunday at midnight to watch all 3 episodes for free, after that if you want to watch them you would have to buy them at iTunes. Check it! Dr. Horrible

WARNING: This week might only interest Americans around the age of 30ish. Do you remember Showbiz Pizza Place? Showbiz Pizza Place was a family arcade restaurant that served pizza and had video arcade games. If you remember them, then perhaps you remember Rock-afire Explosion. Rock-afire Explosion was the animitronic band that played in the eating area. Well these videos below might bring back some memories.
